I should have started with a screed but fuck it , I'm not in that kind of mood or mode or whatever

Thinking about Al Andalus , not the current AQ protectorate but the real old one , and it's similarities with modern day Israel .
Not the obvious Clash of Civilizations , arabs vs west (like that has anything to do with jews) , that has been done to death
looking at both the conquest and the reconquest
The reconquest is simple . the defeated and despised indigenous people take back their land from the muslims but the conquest itself is also an interesting parallel where an advanced people ideologically (is that a real word?) driven took a crumbling piece of crap from the degenerate locals and made something out of it.
Historical precedents shouldn't be taken straight but I see two interesting points . One that the reconquest ended only when Spain became arabrein (Hint , Hint) and Two that if the process of jewification of the arabs in Israel is proceeding along the same lines as the process of arabization of the spaniards proceeded in the Cordoba Emirate then Israel would be a very interesting place in about a 100 years
Stick around and find out
I certainly plan to
