A modest suggestion
let's say that some news agency reports that a certain number of innocent arabs ( to take a random ethnicity) has been killed in a military action and it turns out that it wasn't actually so. That in real life a smaller number of armed thugs got killed along with a yet a smaller number of human shields .
So how do you prevent said news agency from rushing to publish the lies without bothering with such a small detail as the truth?
Simple , You make up the difference between the reported number of people killed and the real number of dead by killing the staff of that news agency starting with the local rep and moving up the food chain .That way either they report the facts or they become part of the report.

small arms diplomacy
It's been a fantasy of the local arabs to use unarmed masses as a "peacefull" weapon against the jews. Like " If thousands of people started marching on jerusalem what would the jews do? kill them?" . the problem with that kind of oublic fantasy is that everyone , including the jews, is aware of it so that when someone tried to "live the dream" in rafiah the jews gave a very positive answer to the rethorical question.

I'm disgusted with myself
looking at the scenes now playing from aza I realized that when they killed a woman and her four daughters I felt absolutely no rage at all .
How numb have I become that more than a weak later and only after 6 soldiers were killed and their body parts snatched as trophies did I realize what the arabs did to Mrs Chatuel and her family.

a bad sign
I've just finished a book called "Red Thunder" by John Varley
Varley is one of my favorite writers and by his standards the book is a piece of crap .Either he lost it or he wanted some quick cash and didn't mind alienating his fans.
But that's not the problem
the thing is that somewhere towards the end of the book the word "zionists" is used as a possible group of baddies . It is put there to PC balance "palestinians" but still it scares me that someone would use it in that meaning so casually and without any obvious malice . For me that lack of malice means that he doesn't connect the word with any real people or if he does he sees them as no different from the arabs which means that moral equivalence has claimed another unsuspecting victim and one whose talent I admired.

Every political corpse from labor politicians to rony milo for fucks sake have been conjured up on all three channels to explain why the likud vote is immoral ,wrong , un-democratic , immaterial and totally out of touch with what the people want. Strangely enough not one channel was able to find even one commentator with a dissenting opinion.
