small arms diplomacy

It's been a fantasy of the local arabs to use unarmed masses as a "peacefull" weapon against the jews. Like " If thousands of people started marching on jerusalem what would the jews do? kill them?" . the problem with that kind of oublic fantasy is that everyone , including the jews, is aware of it so that when someone tried to "live the dream" in rafiah the jews gave a very positive answer to the rethorical question.
